sam guenin about

Hi, and welcome to my website, designed and coded by me, Sam Guenin. I am a student at the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation at Columbia. I am studying architecture and in my third year of graduate school. My interest in art began at a very young age and shortly after, I began taking private art lessons. I quickly developed a knack for technical and tedious drawings and so began my pursuit of architecture. Towards the end of middle and beginning of high school, I attended Interlochen Arts Camp for visual arts. Interlochen is also where my passion for photography began, and I took it up to be a hobby and it has become a big part of my life. The summer before my senior year in high school, I attended the summer program at Washingon University. I attended the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts.

In school, the majority of my time is taken up by my architectural studies because of my love of what I do. My freetime consists of photography and everything else that you see on this website. This website has been in development for almost two years because of a lack of time and because my design ideas constantly change, but it is finally an almost completed site that I am very proud of.

If you want to contact me about photography work or ask me any questions regarding what I do, click any of the icons on the left to get in touch.
